Blue Ox in Pender, NE is looking to hire a full-time Automation Engineer to design, develop, and implement automated solutions for the manufacturing processes. Are you a highly motivated? A Day in the Life
In this Engineer position, you are critical to our company’s success by developing new systems and layouts that follow Lean Manufacturing philosophies. In addition, you will manage the equipment purchase, installation, and implementation for our facility.
You will use your well-developed engineering skills develop and implement improvements to existing automation in mechanical assembly, machining, and inspection processes. You will excel in Lean production principles, ability to understand workflow and assembly methods to maximize efficiencies. You look forward to work because you enjoy interacting with people and contributing to the company’s success in a big way.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Automation or related Engineering area
- Knowledge or ability to acquire the knowledge of operation of machines in welding, machining, fabrication, assembly and some electrical work
- Minimum of 1-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or engineering.
- Mechanical design skills
- CAD experience
